Study the (Key)Notes: Who’s Who of the 2021 NextGen Government Training Virtual Summit

With less than three months to go until the 2021 NextGen Government Training Virtual Summit, you’ve probably registered, downloaded our approval toolkit and glanced at our agenda, anticipating which breakout sessions you’d join come August. As you looked at the names under the word “keynotes,” you grew curious, wanting to learn more about our illustrious speakers. Well don’t worry, we’ve handled that for you. Here are some cliff notes about our keynotes.

Mary Abbajay

Mary Abbajay is the President of Careerstone Group, LLC, and the Author of the best-selling book  “Managing Up: How to Move Up, Win at Work, and Succeed with Any Type of Boss.” Her expertise lies in helping clients create dynamic and productive workplaces that foster professional and personal excellence and growth.

Here is Mary’s presentation at a recent GovLoop training.

Dr. Allan Lichtman

Dr. Allan Lichtman is a Distinguished Professor of History at American University. Lichtman has used a prediction system called “The Keys to the White House,” to correctly predict every US presidential election since 1984, including our most recent one.

Dr. Arathi Rao

Dr. Arathi Rao is a Clinical Psychologist, Author, Professional Speaker and the Owner of Center for Creative Human Performance, LLC. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Rao provides consultative services to businesses and holds stress management workshops in the United States and abroad.

Ryan Lowe 

Ryan Lowe is a Professional Speaker and the Author of the book Get off Your Attitude.” He is based out of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Dr. Sonya Lott

Dr. Sonya Lott is a Counseling Psychologist. She is the Founder and CEO at CEMPSYCH, LLC, a practice which focuses on providing multicultural awareness to mental health professionals.

D’Lynn Jacobs 

D’Lynn Jacobs is the Director of Programming and Training for the Peace Corps Vanuatu. Jacobs has worked with a variety of organizations, ranging from Upward Bound to GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network).

Asha Aravindakshan 

Asha Aravindakshan is a Trisector Leader and the Author of the book “Skills: The Common Denominator.” The book highlights the importance of transferable skills in the modern workforce.

Tiana Sanchez 

Tiana Sanchez is a Corporate Trainer, Professional Keynote Speaker, Executive Coach and the Author of Undefeatable: Conquering Self-Defeat.” You can listen to Sanchez’s podcast, “Like a Boss,” to acquire leadership advice.

Colonel Candice Frost

Colonel Candice Frost is a Commander for the United States Cyber Command. She is also the Chief Executive Officer of Colonel Candid.

Victoria Wei

Victoria Wei is the Honolulu District Manager for Technical Operations and Air Traffic Organization at the Federal Aviation Administration. She became a member of the  Senior Executive Service at the age of 41 and is very knowledgeable about what it is like to be a young leader in government.

Dr. Brandi Baldwin

Dr. Brandi Baldwin is a Thought Leader, Author and CEO of Millennial Ventures. Dr. Baldwin’s work focuses on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and millennial leadership.

Dr. Vivian Ikem

Dr. Vivian Ikem is a Coach, Professional Speaker, Trainer and Founding Director of Mekiv Limited. In addition to having a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, Vivian has expertise in consulting and strategic change.
